Hot on the heels of its Galaxy Unpacked event, Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S25 Edge is back in the spotlight—this time with freshly leaked press renders that show off the device in three premium finishes: Titanium Jet Black, Titanium Icy Blue, and Titanium Silver.
Positioned as a sleeker sibling to the Galaxy S25 Plus, the S25 Edge sports a familiar 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED panel (2400 x 1080), complete with a silky-smooth 120Hz refresh rate. But it’s not just the display that’s turning heads—it’s the body. At just 5.8mm thin (excluding the camera bump), the Edge may become one of the slimmest Galaxy phones in recent memory.
Under the hood, Samsung is packing serious heat. The S25 Edge is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy—a custom-tuned variant of Qualcomm’s latest flagship chip built on Oryon cores, capable of reaching speeds up to 4.46GHz. It’s paired with 12GB of RAM, putting it right in the mix with other flagship contenders.
The camera setup, however, is where Samsung is making some trade-offs. Unlike its S25 siblings that feature triple rear shooters, the Edge opts for a dual-camera system: a 200MP main camera using Samsung’s ISOCELL HP2 sensor, and a 12MP ultra-wide lens. There’s no telephoto here, which might be a sticking point for mobile photography enthusiasts.
Powering everything is a slightly smaller battery, coming in at 3786mAh (marketed as 3900mAh), with support for 25W fast charging—par for the course with the standard S25. It’s a necessary compromise to hit that ultra-thin design.
While Samsung originally hinted at a May 2025 release, multiple sources now suggest the Galaxy S25 Edge could arrive as early as April. Whether additional colorways will launch exclusively via Samsung’s online store remains to be seen, but the current palette lines up with the rest of the S25 series.
If the renders are anything to go by, the Galaxy S25 Edge could be Samsung’s sleekest flagship yet—striking a balance between high-end performance and head-turning aesthetics, even if it skips a few features along the way.
