Samsung is preparing to launch two new foldable phones at the end of July 2023 and the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is among them. The other is the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and both have been no strangers to leaks. Today we get to see a fresh render of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, as shown below.
We’re dealing with a leaked promo image here, one that highlights the folder shaped external screen with a 3.4 inch diagonal. This is a small battle lost to the Motorola RAZR 40 Ultra, which has a larger screen, at 3.5 inches in diagonal. Based on previous leaks, the device will have a 720 x 748 pixel resolution and 60 Hz refresh rate.
It will be able to run full screen apps, such as Google ones like Maps, Messages and YouTube. The device will use a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, together with 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of storage. There’s also a 6.7 inch main screen with a Full HD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, plus a dual set of 12 MP cameras.
The battery s a 3700 mAh unit with support for 25W charging. Expect more info during the late July event taking place in Seoul.
