Redmi 10 Leaks in Specs and Pictures Via Retailer

Xiaomi may have unveiled the Redmi Note 10 this Spring, but they did seem to forget to bring us a Redmi 10. That should be a lower price device, closer to $150 than $200. A leak from Singapore reveals both a set of renders and also specs for the newcomer.

The seller that listed the smartphone mentions a 6.5 inch screen with FHD resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. There’s a 5000 mAh battery here with 18W charging, an USB-C 2.0 and Bluetooth 5.0 support. The device uses a MediaTek Helio G88 CPU, with Mali-G52 MC6 GPU, 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There’s an 8 MP selfie camera here, plus a quad back camera with 50 MP main shooter.

Depending on this sensor, we may just have the cheapest 50 MP camera phone on the market. It’s accompanied by an 8 MP ultrawide camera, a 2 MP Bokeh shooter and 2 MP Macro cam too. Dimensions have also leaked, showing that the Redmi 10 measures 162 x 75.3 x 8.95 mm. The screen has Gorilla Glass 3 protection and the device will run on MIUI 12 based on Android 11.

The back camera design feels a bit buff for a cheaper handset. We could see a debut this month.
