Nothing Phone (2) registered a leak over the past 24 hours and we learned that it would include a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in lieu of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. In the meantime designer 4RMD took all the info we have about the new phone and created the renders you see below.
We even have a concept trailer video courtesy of the same designer. The core design doesn’t change much, but the placement of the LEDs of the Glyph system has been swapped around a bit. We now get a triple back camera instead of a dual cam and there are LEDs all around it, or better said its pill shaped module. The back side is still transparent and we can still see the charging coil with LEDs all around it.
I also have a feeling that the 6.66 inch screen has narrower bezels compared to the predecessor. The triple back camera definitely sounds great, with 3 50 MP sensors, including a main F/1.8 one, an ultrawide one and a telephoto one with 3X optical zoom. The designer even imagined a price: $599 for the device.. There’s also Gorilla Glass Victus at both the front and back and the device is available in black or white.
The screen is of the AMOLED variety, with 120 Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits peak brightness. The battery is a 5000 mAh one, probably with fast charging, around 80W or so. The aluminum frame is also here, but we may end up with stainless steel in the end.
