Realme debuts wild smartphone concepts: a 15,000mAh battery beast and a Cooling Fan Phone

At its 828 Fan Festival in China, Realme unveiled two concept smartphones that push the limits of mobile hardware. One is all about endurance, the other about performance under pressure — and neither looks like anything you’ll find on shelves today.

The first concept, the Realme 15,000mAh, carries the world’s first 100% silicon anode battery. With a density of 1,200 Wh/L, Realme claims it offers up to five days of use on a single charge. That translates to more than 50 hours of video playback, 30 hours of gaming, or 18 hours of continuous video recording. Despite the massive capacity, the phone measures just 8.89mm thick, thanks to redesigned internals and solid electrolytes. The 15,000mAh device can also reverse-charge accessories and other phones, effectively doubling as a power bank.

On the performance side, Realme also showed off the Chill Fan Phone, a gaming-centric prototype with a 10,000mAh battery and three-tier cooling. It combines a 7,700mm² vapor chamber, a built-in spinning fan, and thermoelectric cooling to cut device temperatures by as much as 6°C. According to Realme, this setup allows sustained peak performance in over 20 popular games. The Chill Fan Phone’s design resembles the GT7 series and incorporates Realme’s new IceSense Ultra finish, which changes color from white to blue as the phone cools.

While the company didn’t go into full spec sheets, leaks suggest both concepts pack MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chips, 12GB RAM, and 256GB storage, with 6.7-inch displays running Realme UI 6.0 on Android 15.

For now, both devices remain R\&D experiments meant to showcase Realme’s next-gen battery and cooling technologies — not commercial products. But if these concepts hint at the future of smartphones, we may soon see ultra-long-lasting handsets and phones with active cooling systems as standard features.
