Motorola Android Concept Phone Features Dual Core ARM A9 CPU
June 22nd, 2010 | by Thrystan |We knew that Motorola was readying a dual core smartphone, but what about a design to show off the device? DaQuan Freeman mailed us some pretty interesting sketches, showing a Motorola Android concept phone, with great specifications, available after the break.
This device integrates an AMOLED 4.78 inch capacitive touchscreen display with multitouch, an 8 megapixel camera with Dual LED flash and 720p HD video capture at 30 fps and NVIDIA’s Tegra 250 CPU. Powering the unit is a Dual-Core ARM A9 processor and we learn that the handset’s display is scratch-resistant, plus there’s a front facing camera and stereo speakers incorporated.
Will Motorola’s Droid 3 look anything like this?

I love this design. My only concern is the battery life.

yeah. 1100mAh is going to be horrible for something with that much hardware going on. Whatever keeps the bulk down, I guess. Still. I’ll take some bulkiness for the battery life. I think the original Droid either had the same or a 1300mAh and it’s only a single core clocked at 500Mhz stock.
Hope this gets revised a little in light of that, they can’t possibly not know. They haven’t disappointed me yet. So, i’ll trust them on this, I guess.
