Well here’s a move that could well alienate Motorola from Lenovo. Lenovo keeps on making its own phones and the next such device could be one focused on enterprise and security. It’s dubbed Lenovo ThinkPhone according to a fresh leak, which reveals renders for it. It could launch in 2023 and it can be seen here.
Lenovo is basically only making Legion phones these days, but it could launch a ThinkPhone with its very own logo at the back. The info and picture come from Evan Blass, aka @evleaks and 91Mobiles, which are legit sources. They mention a smartphone with the codename “Bronco”. At first sight, it looks like just another Motorola Edge phone, but in the end it could be something else. We could also get it get as the Motorola Edge 40 and under a different brand, Lenovo’s brand.
The model number is XT-2309 and there’s a serious and corporate striped pattern at the back. Also very narrow bezels upfront and a flat screen. Other codenames have popped up, like Canyon, which will be Motorola Edge 40 Pro and Juno, which is Moto RAZR 2023. As far as specs go, Lenovo ThinkPhone has a Full HD+ screen, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, or a Gen 2, a 50 MP main camera and up to 12 GB of RAM. The Think branding means extra security and productivity features, something like a secondary account and platform to work on.
Canyon will have a 50 MP main camera, 60 MP selfie camera, 12 MP telephoto. Bronco will bring a 13 MP Wide/macro camera and 16 MP selfie cam.
