Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 Leak Reveals Basically Everything (Renders Too)

It appears we may have missed out on the major leak of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 at the end of April, but we’re making up for it right now. Courtesy of @OnLeaks and MediaPeanut, we get to see the new Galaxy Z Flip and its renders below.

The major upgrade of the device is the external screen, which is folder shaped and much larger than the predecessor’s. That one was a 1.9 inch panel, this one is a 3.4 incher. The new Moto RAZR 40 Ultra is said to have the bigger one though, at 3.5 inches. The main screen sticks to 6.7 inches and we also get other specs, like a dual back camera.

There are also measurements unveiled for this device, 165 x 71.8 x 6.7 mm, when unfolded. Last I heard, the product was coming on July 26th and it was supposed to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. The external screen allows interactions with notifications, music controls and other essential features.

The design is contemporary meets retro fusion, which surprises tech enthusiasts and more. The crease is supposed to be even smaller now and the starting price is around $999. One thing I’d like to see more often is apps that run in full screen on the cover screen. By the way, back in the day first iPhones had a 3.5 inch diagonal, so we could get to see a lot of features on it.
