Samsung’s next budget-friendly Galaxy A phone has surfaced in a new set of detailed CAD renders. The Galaxy A27, expected to launch in the coming months, appears to follow the same design language introduced on the newer Galaxy A37 and A57, which is to say Samsung isn’t looking to reinvent much here.
The renders show a flat-front smartphone with slim bezels, a centered punch-hole selfie camera, and a vertically stacked triple-camera system on the rear. The camera layout looks cleaner than older budget Galaxy devices, with Samsung continuing its move toward a more minimal flagship-inspired look across the A-series.

According to the leak, the Galaxy A27 measures 162.3 x 78.6 x 7.9 mm. That would make it slightly shorter and wider than its predecessor, while also a touch thicker. On paper, those are tiny changes, but they may point to a more comfortable in-hand feel and better weight balance.
The phone is said to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. That would be a notable advantage in the lower midrange market, especially for users who care about smoother scrolling, brighter colors, and stronger contrast than typical LCD panels can deliver. Samsung has long treated display quality as one of its biggest strengths, and even its more affordable phones usually benefit from that.

Around the back, the Galaxy A27 is rumored to include a 50-megapixel main camera, joined by an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro sensor. It’s a familiar formula rather than an ambitious one, but it covers the basics: standard shots, wider landscapes, and close-up detail photography.
Inside, the phone is expected to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip paired with 6GB of RAM. That combination should be enough for everyday tasks like messaging, video streaming, browsing, light gaming, and multitasking without much trouble. This is likely a phone aimed at people who want reliability over raw speed.
Battery specs haven’t been officially confirmed, but Samsung is expected to stick with a 5,000mAh battery and 25W wired charging, matching recent A2x models. That usually translates into all-day battery life and charging speeds that are fine, if not especially fast.
