Motorola Razr 60 Ultra Leak Reveals Blazing Specs and a Massive Cover Screen

The upcoming Motorola Razr 60 Ultra (expected to launch in North America as the Razr+ 2025) has already made plenty of appearances in leaked renders — and now, we may have its full spec sheet, and it’s anything but modest.

Let’s start with the centerpiece: the Razr 60 Ultra reportedly boasts a 7-inch LTPO AMOLED folding display with a 1440p resolution, 165Hz refresh rate, and up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness — which, if accurate, would make it the brightest foldable screen out there. Gamers might also appreciate the 300Hz touch response rate in-game mode, dropping to 130Hz during normal use.

The external cover screen is no slouch either. At a spacious 4 inches, it’s an LTPO AMOLED panel with 165Hz refresh, 3,000 nits peak brightness, and responsive touch input at 120Hz (or 165Hz depending on the mode). That makes it one of the largest and most capable outer displays on any clamshell foldable.

Under the hood, the Razr 60 Ultra packs the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite” SoC, paired with a whopping 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB of blazing-fast UFS 4.0 storage. That’s flagship-tier power that puts it toe-to-toe with the best in the business.

In terms of cameras, Motorola is going all-in on 50MP sensors. The main shooter is a 50MP sensor with OIS and f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 50MP ultrawide with macro capabilities — an interesting shift from the telephoto found on last year’s Razr 50 Ultra. For selfies, there’s yet another 50MP front camera tucked inside.

Battery life is looking solid too, with a 4,700mAh cell supporting 68W wired and 30W wireless charging. All this comes in a sleek body measuring 171.48 x 73.99 x 7.29 mm when open, and weighing 199g. The software side is just as modern, with Android 15 out of the box.

Motorola is expected to officially unveil the Razr 60 Ultra on April 24, alongside the standard Razr 60 and possibly a new Edge 60 variant. Based on what we’re seeing so far, this might just be Motorola’s most ambitious foldable yet.
