OnePlus isn’t waiting for the official launch to spill the beans on its upcoming OnePlus 13T — the company has now confirmed the phone will come with dual 50MP rear cameras, skipping the ultra-wide entirely.
In a Weibo post, OnePlus revealed that the 13T will feature a 50MP Sony IMX906 main sensor — the same one used on its flagship — alongside a 50MP telephoto lens offering 2x optical zoom and 4x lossless zoom. According to OnePlus China President Louis Jie, the 13T will inherit several computational photography tricks from OPPO’s top-tier devices, including flagship-grade portrait algorithms, shadowless capture, and an ultra-clear LivePhoto mode. OnePlus also teased AI imaging enhancements and cinematic filters designed to elevate mobile photography.
Camera sample teasers confirm the main shooter will use an f/1.8 aperture, while the telephoto lens will feature an f/2.0 aperture. Missing from the setup, however, is an ultra-wide camera — a somewhat surprising omission for a phone in this segment.
Beyond the cameras, the OnePlus 13T is expected to sport a 6.32-inch 1.5K AMOLED flat display with 120Hz refresh rate, ultra-slim bezels, and rounded R-style corners. The camera housing is crafted from a single piece of metal, giving the rear a more premium look.
Under the hood, the phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite” SoC, and OnePlus is already boasting an AnTuTu score north of 3 million, setting the stage for serious performance.
The OnePlus 13T is scheduled to launch next week in China. With its flagship-grade specs and camera focus (pun intended), it might just blur the line between “T-series” and true premium.
