Double Glassy Layers Mobile Device Concept, So Transparent…
November 19th, 2008 | by Thrystan |
Mac Funamizu is a name you’ve surely heard before, if you’re into Apple-related concepts and hot designs, so here’s his latest work: a mobile device using double glassy layers. The issue of fingerprints is present as usual, but the beauty of the handset is impressive, although some of you might think it lacks personality because of its transparency.
I’m wondering if the device isn’t too fragile, since it uses so much glass and there are dozens of places where the phone could break apart. Also the entire device might be prone to cracks, unless the glassy layers aren’t made out of some special uber-resistant material.
