Bill Gould designed a very original mobile phone, that we could call steampunk, after a glance at its looks. Apparently, this is a phone concept that Edison would have loved and it’s packed with the technology of 100 years ago, or so.
Notice that cool crank, used for initiating calls, the old-school receiver and “mic”, plus the sliding numeric keypad. The wooden body also has its charm, while those two metallic “boobs” are the ringing bells that announce a phone call, probably.
One can only imagine how huge the power source for this vintage phone design really is…
