I could go out and try a metaphor that includes the human body, a vessel, the soul and some Tool lyrics, but nothing good comes to mind, so back to this Vertu concept phone. Designed by Norihiko Inoue, the Vertu Void is basically a handset that features an empty body, wearing its “inside out”. I’m talking about the electric components, that can be seen at the exterior of the device.

The buttons and screen are placed on strips of plastic, which for me spells “fragility” all the way and a sure breaker, in case you drop it. Hmm, we might be able to use that empty space after all… for gathering candy, or cat hair, that can always be found in all the wrong places.
