2026 is shaping up to be the year of slim smartphones — or those carrying “Mini” and “Air” in their names. Motorola and Huawei are each preparing ultra-thin devices of their own, but OnePlus seems to be taking the compact performance route instead, with the rumored OnePlus 15T. A newly surfaced (and rather dubious) render gives us a glimpse, alongside some intriguing details.
The last “T” model from OnePlus — the 13T — already impressed with its massive 6260 mAh battery. The alleged successor raises the bar even further, boasting a 7000 mAh cell inside a 6.3-inch body. That figure, leaked by reliable Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu, suggests the 15T could become one of the most efficient compact flagships in years.
The device reportedly features a wider display, a metal frame, and the return of the multifunctional Plus Key seen on the 13T. The new battery supposedly uses silicon-carbide chemistry, enabling higher density and better longevity without compromising thickness. Other rumored specs include an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, and camera hardware shared with the OnePlus 15.
Interestingly, the regular OnePlus 15 itself is expected to sport a 7300 mAh pack — which means the smaller 15T won’t be far behind in endurance, potentially redefining what a “compact flagship” can deliver.
