The Oppo Find X9 Ultra has surfaced in a real-life photo, offering the clearest hint yet about its camera arrangement. The device is shown inside a confidentiality case, so the external design remains fully hidden, but the cutouts confirm that Oppo is keeping the Ultra model’s signature circular camera module. Two handsets appear in the image, though it remains uncertain whether both are X9 Ultra prototypes or if only the right-side unit represents the flagship. The latter features more openings, suggesting a more complex camera setup consistent with the Ultra’s rumored hardware.
According to earlier reports, the Find X9 Ultra will be equipped with a Sony LYT-901 200MP primary camera with OIS, a Samsung JN5 50MP ultra-wide lens, and two telephoto periscope units: a 200MP OmniVision OV52A with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP Samsung JN5 with 10x optical zoom. A new 300mm teleconverter accessory is also said to be in development for this model, which would expand its long-range imaging capabilities well beyond typical smartphone reach.
Performance-wise, the Find X9 Ultra is expected to ship with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, in contrast to the Find X9 and X9 Pro, which reportedly rely on MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500. The Ultra is also rumored to feature a 6.82-inch 2K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as a battery capacity approaching 7,000 mAh. Charging support should include 80W wired and 50W wireless.
Oppo is expected to announce the Find X9 Ultra next month in China, launching alongside the Find X9 and X9 Pro (often referred to in leaks as X9s and X9s Pro). The Find N6 foldable is also rumored for March, although its launch timing relative to the X9 family remains unconfirmed. The Find X9 Ultra is anticipated to reach global markets in the second quarter of 2026.
