Apple iPhone Flip Gets a New Version… and a Trailer

Apple is rumored to introduce the iPhone Flip in 2024, but before that we have a design leak and a concept. Some say it could even drop later, in 2025 or even 2026. The general belief is that Apple will prefer the clamshell format, rather than the large Galaxy Z Fold one.

In this case, the designer dubbed 4RMD created an iPhone 15 Flip and even gave us a trailer. We’re dealing with a sleek, flat edge smartphone with aluminum frame and the Dynamic Island, in a small version. There’s also an innovative mechanism technology, which is built to last for up to 200k folds. There’s a secondary display, an external one. Available in 5 colors, the device comes in graphite, silver, gold, purple and Product RED.

There’s a 6.8 inch Super Retina XDR ProMotion Display here, Always On Display tech and the secondary screen shows widgets and notifications. The camera is a 12 MP ultrawide shooter and the main camera is a 48 MP shooter with a Quad Pixel sensor and 100% focus pixels. By the time this comes out, it’ll have an Apple A17 Bionic processor and probably new screen technology.

Crash Detection is also evolved on this phone. I have to say I dig this concept, but I’m not a big fan of the diagonal placement of the two cameras.
