iPhone Air 2 Concept Is How the First Air Should Have Looked…

There’s been no shortage of iPhone 18 leaks, but the iPhone Air 2 has been pretty much put on the backburner, set for a 2027 release. There are some people who envisioned it, though, like designer Demon’s Tech, who takes a cautious approach, keeping the same general format and only adding an extra camera.

At its core, the iPhone Air had it rigt, with a 5.6 mm thin body and a large ProMotion Display, plus the Apple A19 Pro performance. The price was rather large, at $999, but the camera… Well, also the single speaker… These are unforgivable things. One camera and one speaker are turned into two back cameras and two speakers on the iPhone Air 2 concept shown here.

Demon’s Tech has rendered the device in new colors, too, like a sort of green beige and a pink-purple. The rest of the body remain skinny and flat and the camera bar stays oval, but now hosts two sensors. There’s also the centered Apple logo and an efficiency focused N2 chip, that joins the camera upgrade. There are two 48 MP sensors at the back, one main and one ultrawide, of course. Sans telephoto, because the main sensor already does 2X zoom at the equivalent of optical zoom.

Also, telephoto in sub 6 mm? Can’t be achieved. The phone also comes in red, blue and gray, and I for one would also shrunk the front Dynamic Island. 12 GB of RAM and the Apple A20 Pro CPU are also here, plus more resilient materials, to keep the device also durable, not just slim… But… what’s the selling point now?
