ASUS ROG Phone 8 Pro Leaked, Shown Off in Pictures

It’s been a while since we covered a smartphone’s leaked renders, but here we are today with such a fresh novelty. ASUS is preparing to announce the ROG Phone 8 series in China on January 16th and they’ve already shown teasers.

Now we get to see full fledged renders of the machine. The ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro have leaked. The latter is shown from a multitude of angles, complete with a new camera design and squared body. The two models will have an almost identical design, except from some differences at the back side. The ROG Phone 8 Pro comes with a flat display, a centered punch hole for the selfie camera, a 32 MP sensor by the way.

On the right side of the handset there’s a Power button, plus volume controls, while at the bottom we find an USB-C port. There’s also another USB-C port at the left side. This device comes with a 3.5 mm audio jack. According to previous leaks, the ROG Phone 8 Pro is expected to feature a 6.78 inch Full HD+ AMOLED display, with 165 Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support and LTPO technology. Inside we’ll also find a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, plus up to 24 GB of RAM.

Finally, a 5500 mAh battery will also be here, with support for 65W fast charging. Even IP68 certification is on the tablet. Speaking about the industrial design, this approach is a departure from previous ROG phones, thanks to angularity and particularly the camera area is odd, kind of resembling the iPhone one.
