Google recently launched its latest flagships, the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, but there’s a third member of the family incoming. It’s the Google Pixel 8a, which has leaked in CAD renders and keeps some of the Pixel 8 and 7a looks.
We have rounded corners here, just like the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The device appears in a cute pink and blue and the screen seems to have more prominent bezels compared to the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro, especially the chin. Pixel 8a measures 152.1 x 72.6 x 8.9 mm. This means it’s very much the same as the Pixel 7a, which measured 152 x 72.9 x 9 mm.
The Pixel 8a has a screen size of around 6.1 inches and it brings a centered punch hole for the selfie camera. Leaked benchmarks have shown that the Pixel 8a will use an underclocked version of the Tensor G3, which is also found on the Pixel 8 and Pixel 8 Pro. The 8a will bring 8 GB of RAM and also run Android 14 from the get go.
Expect a debut in the Spring 2024 maybe.
