Motorola RAZR 50s Ultra appears in the first photo; What’s new?

Motorola isn’t just satisfied with the Moto RAZR 50 and RAZR 50 Ultra models – they’re also planning to offer an “S” series soon. The RAZR 50s had already leaked online, and now we have the first images of the Motorola RAZR 50s Ultra.

Motorola launched the RAZR 50 and RAZR 50 Ultra in June 2024, and now they’re preparing to release the Motorola RAZR 50s and RAZR 50s Ultra. Recently, the RAZR 50s Ultra appeared on certification platforms, specifically on the Wireless Power Consortium and SGS Fimko Testing & Certification Services. The RAZR 50s Ultra has the codename XT2451-6 and comes with a design similar to the RAZR 50 Ultra.

It features a slightly rounded frame, a large external screen, and two separate cutouts for the main camera. The internal display has a centered hole for the selfie camera, and the screen edges are as thin as those of the other RAZR 50 models. The power and volume buttons remain on the right, while the SIM tray is on the left. At the bottom, there’s a USB-C port, speaker cutouts, and a microphone.

The lower back of the phone has a leather finish. We also learn that the phone supports 15W wireless charging and likely maintains the 45W wired charging found in the base RAZR 50 Ultra model. In theory, an “S” model should make some compromises, so we might expect cuts in RAM, processor (potentially a different version than the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3), battery, and cameras.
