Nothing has something up its sleeve for March 4. Well, actually, two somethings—if today’s leaks are to be believed. The Nothing Phone (3a) and its bigger sibling, the Nothing Phone (3a) Pro, are set to make their debut, and early leaks give us a glimpse of what to expect. Interestingly, the “Plus” branding from the previous generation seems to have been scrapped in favor of the Pro moniker.
The leaked image shows the Nothing Phone (3a) wrapped in a heavy-duty case, a common tactic to keep prying eyes from getting the full design details. Still, one major change is impossible to miss—this will be the first Nothing phone to feature a triple-camera setup.
According to the latest rumors, the Nothing Phone (3a) will sport a 6.8-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Powering the device is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 3, paired with either 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage or a 12GB/256GB configuration.
On the camera front, Nothing is making a notable shift. The triple-camera setup includes a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide, and—perhaps the biggest surprise—a 50MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom. Up front, a 32MP selfie shooter rounds out the package.
Battery life should be solid, with a 5,000mAh cell supporting 45W fast wired charging. And yes, the signature Glyph lighting is still present on the back. Other features include NFC support and Nothing OS 3.1 based on Android 15 out of the box.
The Nothing Phone (3a) Pro will reportedly come in a single 12GB/256GB variant, available in gray, while the standard 3a will come in both black and white options. However, what actually makes the Pro model “Pro” is still unclear. Given Nothing’s track record, we probably won’t have to wait long for more leaks to fill in the blanks.
With just over a month until launch, it looks like Nothing is gearing up for another round of attention-grabbing releases. Stay tuned.
