OnePlus 10 Pro Leaked Renders Show Weird Camera

OnePlus is one of the few companies that haven’t had many leaks regarding a 2022 flagship. There was the odd specs leak for the OnePlus 10, but nothing more than that. Today we are treated to a set of renders for the OnePlus 10 Pro, courtesy of @OnLeaks and Zouton. What’s weird here is… the camera design.

No idea if there’s Hasselblad still in the mix, but it doesn’t look like it. I’m also underwhelmed by the lack of a periscope camera. We also get a back camera looking odd, like a door lock or gas cooker. It’s also lower than usual I feel. The renders are said to be based on real pictures of an early prototype, so the final design may change. There’s only 3 rear cameras here and a LED flash, probably a main 50 MP shooter, 50 MP ultrawide and a Macro or Bokeh cam.

We’re expecting the device to debut in Q1 2022, sporting a 6.7 inch AMOLED QHD 120 Hz screen and a Snapdragon 898 processor. There should also be 8 or 12 GB of RAM inside and 128 or 256 GB of storage. A 5000 mAh battery is also mentioned by the source, plus most likely 65W or 100W charging. The same source shows these dimensions: 163.2 x 73.6 x 8.7 mm. It’s weird to see this camera, particularly since previous rumors mentioned a 5X optical zoom periscope cam.

The back side texture is also a bit unusual, making me think of wood or sandpaper. I feel that the camera module could grow on me.
