Galaxy Z Fold7 Shines in Official Renders: Darker Colors and a Sleeker, More Refined Look Than Fold6

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Z Fold7 has made another appearance in detailed official renders ahead of its global debut on July 9, showcasing all three available color options: Jet Black, Silver Shadow, and Blue Shadow. Compared to the Z Fold6’s palette – which included Navy, Silver Shadow, Pink, Black, and White – the Fold7 opts for a more professional, toned-down aesthetic. The finish looks more matte, with less gloss and fewer reflections.

The Jet Black variant is deeper and more uniform than the glossier, reflective black used for the Fold6. Silver Shadow returns but with a cooler, more metallic undertone, replacing the warmer hue from last year. Meanwhile, Blue Shadow replaces the classic navy with a saturated blue featuring subtle greenish undertones that shift with the lighting. Pastel and bright shades like Pink and White are completely gone – hinting at a more business-oriented identity for the Fold7.

In terms of design, the Fold7 appears thinner and flatter, with a completely redesigned hinge. When unfolded, the device reportedly measures between 3.9 mm and 4.5 mm in thickness, and weighs just 215g – that’s 24g lighter than the Fold6, which is a noticeable reduction for this form factor. Edges are sharper, flatter, and more polished, giving it a silhouette closer to the Galaxy S Ultra series. The camera module keeps a familiar layout – three vertically stacked sensors – clean and free of decorative distractions.

While exact camera specs haven’t been confirmed, the module appears visually identical to the Fold6, suggesting a similar setup: a 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide, and 10MP 3x telephoto. No major hardware changes are visible, but Samsung may have refined its image processing algorithms and AI-driven computational photography for better output.

As for pricing, a recent leak pegs the 256GB version at €2,227 and the 512GB variant at €2,309 – slightly higher than the Fold6’s launch price in Europe. This aligns with the Fold7’s new direction as a compact, ultra-premium foldable designed to balance performance and sophistication.
