Samsung Galaxy A37 and A57 leak in high resolution ahead of launch

Samsung’s post-Galaxy S26 cycle is starting to take shape, and the next wave clearly targets the mid-range. Fresh high-resolution leaks reveal the Galaxy A37 and Galaxy A57 in full, giving us a detailed look at Samsung’s upcoming affordable lineup before the company shifts focus to its foldables later this year.

According to well-known leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), both devices will arrive in a wide range of color options. The Galaxy A37 shows up in Awesome Lavender, Awesome Gray Green, and Awesome Charcoal, with an Awesome White variant expected but not yet pictured. The Galaxy A57, meanwhile, appears in Awesome Icy Blue, Awesome Lilac, Awesome Gray, and Awesome Navy. The naming remains unmistakably Samsung, but the finishes themselves look cleaner and slightly more muted than previous generations.

Design-wise, the two phones stick close to Samsung’s current language. Flat frames, minimalist camera rings, and no camera island — just three lenses aligned vertically on the back. The A57 distinguishes itself with slimmer bezels, hinting at a slightly more premium positioning despite the shared overall aesthetic. Both devices lean into large displays, continuing Samsung’s strategy of pushing screen size even in the mid-range.

Under the hood, the similarities continue. Both the Galaxy A37 and A57 are expected to feature 6.7-inch OLED panels with a 120Hz refresh rate and 5,000mAh batteries paired with 45W wired charging. That’s a combination that has quietly become a sweet spot for this segment: big, smooth screens and batteries that comfortably last a full day.

The differences show up in the details. The Galaxy A37 reportedly uses a 50MP main sensor sized at 1/1.56-inch, alongside an 8MP ultrawide, a 5MP macro, and a 12MP front camera. It’s powered by the Exynos 1480 chipset, with 6GB or 8GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB or 256GB.

The Galaxy A57 takes a step up with the newer Exynos 1680 processor and a slightly upgraded ultrawide camera at 12MP, while keeping the same 50MP main sensor, 5MP macro, and 12MP selfie shooter. RAM and storage configurations remain identical, reinforcing the idea that performance and display refinements are the key differentiators here.

Both devices are also expected to include in-display fingerprint sensors, stereo speakers, and IP68 certification for dust and water resistance — features that continue to trickle down from Samsung’s flagship lineup into more accessible price tiers.

On the software side, the phones are rumored to ship with Android 16 and One UI 8.5 out of the box. Samsung could also extend its software promise to six major Android updates, which would make these devices some of the most future-proof options in their class.

Taken together, the Galaxy A37 and A57 don’t radically change Samsung’s mid-range formula — but they refine it in ways that matter. Bigger displays, cleaner design, solid cameras, and long-term software support. If pricing stays competitive, these could easily become two of the most visible Android phones in 2026’s mid-tier market.
