Samsung Galaxy A55 Shown Off in Renders and a Video

The Samsung Galaxy A55 midrange phone has just leaked and it’s showcased in a bunch of renders and a video. We’re dealing with a phone that sports a premium design, but also a flatter one compared to the predecessor and also with a potential metal build.

Leaked specs indicate we could be getting a 6.5 inch 120 Hz display, an Exynos 1480 processor and a 5000 mAh battery with 25W charging. There’s also talk of a main 50 megapixel camera. The follow-up to the Galaxy A54 has been leaked over the weekend courtesy of Steve Hemmerstoffer, aka @OnLeaks, together with MySmartPrice.

There’s no defined camera module, the lenses are sprouting straight from the back and there’s 3 of them. They have a vertical alignment and judging by the antenna lines on the frame, we could get a metal build in lieu of plastic. The phone’s Power button and volume buttons are on the right edge, while the SIM slot is at the top. The left side is completely blank, with no buttons.

The USB-C port and speakers are placed at the bottom of the phone. We also see a punch hole for the selfie camera. The leaksters mention that the Samsung Galaxy A55 measures 161.1 x 77.3. 77.9 x 7.2 mm and comes with a 6.5 inch Full HD+ display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. Expect more leaks as we approach 2024.
