Samsung Galaxy A56 leaks in multiple colors, showing subtle design tweaks

The Samsung Galaxy A56 has been making waves in the rumor mill for months, and now, thanks to Evan Blass (aka evleaks), we have our best look yet at Samsung’s upcoming mid-ranger in multiple color options. Blass shared a series of GIFs in his latest Leakmail on Substack, showcasing the device from various angles.

A familiar design with a new twist

We first got an idea of what the Galaxy A56 might look like late last year, when OnLeaks shared CAD-based renders of the phone. However, these newly leaked images provide a much clearer look at the real deal. Samsung has yet to confirm any details about the phone, but previous reports suggest it will feature the Exynos 1580 SoC, a 5,000mAh or 5,100mAh battery, 45W wired charging, and an upgraded 12MP selfie camera.

From a design perspective, the Galaxy A56 continues Samsung’s trend of refining its mid-range lineup. The phone appears to be moving away from the individual camera lens cutouts that have been a signature of Samsung’s flagships in recent years. Instead, the A56 adopts a more unified camera island, similar to what we might see on the upcoming Galaxy S25 series—a subtle but notable shift in aesthetics. Another minor change? The bottom bezel looks slightly smaller, though given that these are CAD-based renders, we’ll have to wait for real-world images to confirm.

Expected launch next month

The Galaxy A55 was officially announced in March last year, so it wouldn’t be surprising if the Galaxy A56 debuts around the same time in 2025. With better charging speeds, a more powerful chipset, and slight design refinements, Samsung seems set to strengthen its position in the competitive mid-range segment.

We’ll keep an eye on official announcements and leaks, so stay tuned for more details as they surface.
