Samsung is gearing up for a major tablet refresh expected to land in September or October, and now we’re getting our first real look at the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra. Newly surfaced hands-on images show a notable change up front: the dual selfie cameras from the Tab S9 Ultra are gone. In their place, we see a minimalist teardrop notch housing a single front-facing camera. While this might feel like a downgrade in terms of raw hardware, the shift likely helps enable the razor-thin bezels surrounding the 14.6-inch AMOLED display.
The decision to streamline the front camera array suggests Samsung is prioritizing design symmetry and immersion this time around. The reduced camera footprint could be the tradeoff for a more modern, edge-to-edge look—especially on such a massive screen.
Alongside the Ultra, the standard Galaxy Tab S11 also makes an appearance. It looks more in line with the Tab S10+ and Tab S10 FE, sporting a flatter frame and slightly rounder corners. The bezels are modest, and the 11-inch screen makes the overall footprint feel compact for its class. Both the Tab S11 and S11 Ultra are expected to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400+ chipset, marking a shift away from the usual Qualcomm offerings.
Finally, there’s a glimpse of what appears to be the Galaxy Tab S11 Lite. It mirrors the overall design language of the S11 but scales things back under the hood. Expect an Exynos chip, 6GB of RAM, and an 8000 mAh battery with 45W wired charging support. While not as ambitious as its Ultra sibling, the Lite seems positioned as a more budget-friendly entry point into Samsung’s premium tablet ecosystem.
