Facebook Phone Design Actually Looks Realistic

If you keep reading the info and news from quantummarketer.com about the world of technology, you’re probably aware the Mark Zuckerberg and co are working on a Facebook Phone, I mean a REAL phone, not only a handset made by some other company. We’ve already had the HTC Salsa and ChaCha with Facebook buttons, but what will the real FB phone look like? Maybe something like Bob Freking’s idea:

I’m certain that the Facebook blue printed on the back of the device is a special color flavour, that we’ll only find on this device. Let’s call it “Facebook Blue”, but the real delight is the front side. The handset integrates Instagram with LYTRO and seems to run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, judging by the upper and lower side of the screen. To me this looks like a full touch smartphone with a 4.5 to 4.8 inch screen, most likely a HD one, although one wouldn’t necesarilly need 720p resolution to socialize.

If Facebook wants to keep the cost down, they’ll make a handset with great performance, cheap components, decent camera and great battery. So, a qHD display, 8MP camera with the latest and most affordable technology available (maybe from Sony?), a dual core CPU (Snapdragon S4 or TI OMAP) and 4G LTE connectivity. Would you buy this Facebook Phone?

[Thanks Bob Freking]
