4RMD is back with a fresh concept, unveiling the cheaper iPhones of 2023. The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus are here, but with a lot of detail, plus a video. Recently we’ve learned that there will be a discrepancy between the iPhone 15, 15 Plus and Pro units.
This year, the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus opted for last gen CPUs, Apple A15 units, while the 14 Pro models have Apple A16. Next year, the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus will have a slower USB-C port, stuck to the USB 2.0 standard, while the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will adopt an USB-C port at Thunderbolt 3 level. Back to the designs, 4RMD sees the future “affordable” iPhones having the Dynamic Island already made popular by Pro models this year.
The design is sleek, with flat edges and we also have a ceramic shield front. It’s available in 5 youthful hues: black, white, blue, purple and of course Product RED, for a good cause. Available in 6.1 inch and 6.7 inch versions, the devices sport a Super Retina XDR Display with thinner bezels. These are ProMotion Displays with refresh rates up to 120 Hz.
Always On Displays are here, hopefully with more detailed widgets. The cameras? Well, we turn to a new 48 MP wide cam, with 100% focus pixels, accompanied by a 12 MP ultrawide shooter with F/2.2 aperture. There’s also faster charge thanks to USB-C, Apple A16 Bionic CPUs and a starting price of $799 for the iPhone 15 and $899 for the 15 Plus.
