ASUS ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro were unveiled back in July and now they’re getting ready for a special version. A freshly leaked Batman Edition of the machine is now shown in a render or two. Let’s analyze it.
The ASUS ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition comes only in black color. It has “Batman” written under the ROG branding and ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition below that. There will be Batman-inspired themes and skins, but the specs will stay the same as the regular model. It comes with IPX4 water resistance, a RGB logo on the back an AMOLED 6.78 inch 165 Hz panel, plus a Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. There’s also 8, 12 or 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
We also find a triple back camera on the ROG Phone 6, with a 50 MP shooter, 13 MP ultrawide cam and 5 MP Macro cam. ASUS offers stereo speakers, gaming side buttons, capacitive ones, advanced cooling and Android 12 with a ROG UI console with a ton of tweaks. The 6000 mAh battery is charged at 65W. The ROG Phone 6 Batman Edition comes at a time when there’s no new Batman videogame or movie available, so that’s kind of odd.
In the meantime, the ROG Phone 6D Ultimate is expected to drop on September 19th, with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ CPU inside, with ray tracing. There will also be a 6D Ultimate.
