[ratings]We liked Andras Nemes’ first concept phone, Metell A1, because it was simple and it eased our way into 2009 with its less pretentious design. Now, Andras Nemes is back, with a redone Metell phone, the A1 Slide, basically the same handset, plus a sliding keypad and music controls beneath the call keys.
I wonder if those media keys are easy to use, as they’re quite close to the edge of the device… Also, there are very few low end phones nowadays without a camera, so it would be nice to see a future Metell device, keeping the same simple design and adding a 1.3 megapixel camera, at least.
