First Look at Motorola Moto G Stylus 2026 and Moto Tag 2

Motorola’s 2026 lineup is starting to take shape, and today we’re getting an early look at two of the company’s upcoming devices: the Moto G Stylus 2026 and the second-generation Moto Tag. These images represent the first accurate renders of both products, following an earlier mix-up with a different Moto G model. We also have a new detail about the upcoming Motorola Edge 70 Ultra — and it’s a surprising one.

The real Moto G Stylus 2026 is finally here, shown in lavender and dark gray finishes, each with a matching frame. Motorola isn’t straying far from its established design language: a flat eco-leather back, a centered “batwing” logo, and a raised camera island that blends cleanly into the rear material. There are four cutouts, but only three house cameras — the fourth is the LED flash.

The stylus sits outside the phone in these images, but as before, it’s expected to dock inside the bottom frame. The side rails are mostly flat, with subtle rounding at the edges, and the overall silhouette closely mirrors last year’s model.

Specs aren’t locked in yet, but a 6.7-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh seems likely, along with a midrange Qualcomm or MediaTek chipset — something in line with the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 or MediaTek’s newer 7-series. Storage options should land in the 128GB/256GB range, paired with 8GB or 12GB of RAM. A 5,000 mAh battery with around 68W charging, IP68 durability, and Android 16 at launch are all expected. Pricing should remain in the $399–$449 zone, targeting an early Q2 2026 release.

Moto Tag 2: Motorola’s New Bluetooth Tracker Steps Up

We’re also getting the first look at Motorola’s next-gen smart tracker — the Moto Tag 2 — shown here in beige and orange. This is the first time the device has appeared anywhere, including leaks, and it looks noticeably more polished than the original Moto Tag.

The second-gen tracker is expected to support Google’s Find My Device network and may include UWB for more precise location tracking. An IP67 rating seems likely, and Motorola is said to be improving tactility and overall accuracy. Battery life on the first model was roughly a year, so a bump here is possible. No release window is confirmed, but a launch alongside the Moto G Stylus 2026 wouldn’t be surprising. Expect pricing close to the original’s $29.99.

Motorola Edge 70 Ultra Will Support a Stylus

The biggest surprise isn’t visual — it’s functional. Motorola’s upcoming flagship, the Edge 70 Ultra, will support a stylus. The regular Edge 70, launched in October, doesn’t include stylus support, so this marks a notable shift for the Ultra variant.

It’s unclear whether the stylus will dock inside the phone or arrive as a separate accessory, but Motorola appears to be bringing its midrange stylus DNA into a flagship body. If the company follows its usual approach, the stylus may not offer advanced features like pressure sensitivity or full palm rejection, but even basic input support would make the Edge 70 Ultra one of the few modern premium phones to embrace pen input outside Samsung’s Galaxy S Ultra line.

More details should surface as we move deeper into Motorola’s 2026 cycle. For now, this is your first look at where the company is headed — and stylistically, at least, Motorola isn’t slowing down.
