Motorola’s Razr 60 Ultra leaks in bold new colors — including a wood-textured model

Motorola’s next-gen foldable is starting to take shape, and if the latest leak is anything to go by, the Razr 60 Ultra is going all-in on style. Courtesy of well-known leaker Evan Blass (@evleaks), we now have a fresh batch of eight images showing off the upcoming clamshell foldable in a range of striking finishes — including a unique variant with a wood-textured back.

The images, some of which are lifestyle shots, reveal at least four color options so far: a deep Dark Green, a bold Rio Red, a vibrant Hot Pink, and the standout – a version with a wood grain finish. It’s unclear if that last one uses real wood (as we saw on the Edge 50 Ultra Nordic Wood), or if it’s just a textured pattern, but either way, it adds a unique twist to Motorola’s flagship foldable.

Specs are looking seriously flagship-level

According to previous certifications and leaks, the Razr 60 Ultra isn’t just a style icon — it’s also a powerhouse:

  • Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 “Elite” (4.32GHz)
  • RAM options: 8GB, 12GB, 16GB, and up to a massive 18GB
  • Storage: 256GB, 512GB, 1TB — and even 2TB
  • Main display: 6.96-inch pOLED, FHD+, 165Hz refresh rate
  • Cover display: 4-inch OLED
  • Cameras: Dual 50MP shooters embedded in the cover screen, plus a 50MP front-facing selfie camera
  • Battery: 4500mAh with 68W fast charging
  • Dimensions: 171.5 x 74 x 7.3mm, 199 grams

Motorola seems to be refining its design language here. The foldable display has slimmer bezels, the frame looks a bit sleeker, and a mystery button on the upper-left side has sparked curiosity — it’s something we haven’t seen before on Razr models.

Launch incoming

If Motorola follows the same playbook as last year, we’re likely looking at a mid-April 2025 launch. In the US, the device will be branded as the Motorola Razr+ (2025). Pricing details haven’t been confirmed, but leaked info suggests a version with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage could land at around €1346 in Europe.

Motorola’s folding ambitions are clearly evolving. The Razr 60 Ultra seems to blend premium specs with playful, fashion-forward design — a welcome move in a segment that’s often too clinical. Whether the wood-back model becomes a cult favorite or just a quirky variant remains to be seen, but one thing’s for sure: this flip phone is far from boring.
