Nothing continues to unveil details about the upcoming Nothing Phone 4a before its official reveal on March 5. After earlier teasers that showed the device in the brand’s black-and-white semi-transparent finish, the company now introduces a pink variant, an uncommon direction for its color palette.
The finish keeps the semi-transparent aesthetic, but adds a muted tint. Lucy Birley, Colour Material Finish Design Lead at Nothing, said the tone results from desaturated red pigment placed under transparent layers, which interacts with the resin to create depth. The company refers to it as a subtle pink, though the effect remains restrained.
Nothing has not confirmed the full specifications of the Phone 4a or addressed rumors about a possible 4a Pro model. The complete announcement is scheduled for March 5 at 10:30 a.m. GMT.
The Phone 4a is expected to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset with an octa-core configuration (2.71 GHz single core, 2.4 GHz penta core, 1.8 GHz quad core) and 8 GB of RAM. The display measures 6.78 inches, uses AMOLED technology, offers a 1260×2800 resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate, with a punch-hole layout.
The rear camera module includes a 50 MP main sensor, a 50 MP telephoto camera with up to 2x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, plus 4K video at 30 fps. The front camera records Full HD at 30 fps and uses a 32 MP sensor.
Battery capacity sits at 5080 mAh with 50W charging via USB-C. The model supports 5G and includes 256 GB of internal storage, without expansion. The device is described as water- and dust-resistant.
