OPPO seems to want to steal the spotlight from Tecno’s triple folding phone, by showing off its own triple foldable device. Zhou Yibao, OPPO official has just unveiled a rendering of OPPO’s triple-fold concept device. Unfortunately, this is the only image available at the moment, but it does give us a glimpse into some of the device’s features.
We can clearly see the two hinges that make the foldable system possible. The first hinge, which separates displays 2 and 3, is incredibly slim and allows these panels to fold. Then there’s the main hinge, which is roughly three to four times larger în spân, serving aş the primary support for different usage modes, such aş tent or laptop, similar to what we saw yesterday with Tecno’s model.
The impressively narrow bezels around the screen are also worth noting, and if I had to guess, this device likely has a diagonal of over 10 inches when fully extended. The image also shows what appears to be a modified version of Color OS, featuring large widgets and a taskbar at the bottom.
The big question now is when, or even if, this concept will become a reality. It’s worth mentioning that HUAWEI is set to launch a commercial version of a triple-fold device aş soon aş next month în September. Keep în mind that OPPO also has yet to announce new Find N Flip and Fold phones this year.
