Shaik Imaduddin recently sent us a brand new Samsung Galaxy S III concept, one that strays from the usual designs, as you can see in the image below. We’re still dealing with an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich handset, with TouchWiz 5.0 UI on it, but the looks are different than one would expect. This looks like a device that borrows a bit from the design traits of the new Sony Xperia units…

This Galaxy S III features an UI with on-screen buttons for Android 4.0 and a 4.65 inch Super AMOLED Plus HD display, a 12 megapixel camera at the back and 3.2 megapixel camera at the front and the long awaited quad core Exynos processor. You also get 2 GB of RAM, 64 GB of storage and I’m really curious what type of battery such a model will have. It should be around 2000 mAh, or even 3000 mAh, if it wants to juice up the handset enough for a day of functioning time.

Also, I can see that there’s an S Note app in there, so this new Galaxy S model might be compatible with the stylus on the Galaxy Note or other similar accessories. Anyway, we’ll see the real deal next month at Mobile World Congress 2012 and compare it to these mockups…

[Thanks Shaik Imaduddin]
