Straight out of Netherlands comes a new Samsung Galaxy tablet, rendered below. This is the Samsung Galaxy Tab Slide, a device that also features a sliding keyboard, developed in relation to rumors that hit the web recently.
Samsung Galaxy Tab Slide packs a full keyboard on the bottom, that can be ejected and it uses a special mechanism to stand up straight like a laptop. Specs include 4 GB of RAM, Windows 8, a 6000 mAh battery and a quad core 2.3 GHz Qualcomm CPU, probably a Snapdragon 800. There’s 32 GB of storage inside, a HDMI and USB port, an 8 megapixel camera at the back and a front 2.1 MP cam.
The whole thing weighs 683 grams and there’s a USB 3.0 charging point here. All things considered, the 10 mm thickness is not that bad. What I like the most here is the edge to edge display, something you don’t see on Windows 8 devices just yet. Also, the display looks really crisp and well lit. This sounds like a very good alternative to the Samsung Galaxy Note 12.2, replacing Android with Windows.
