Folks smarter than me and you analyzed the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 launch events and noticed that Sammy tried to mention Android and Google as little as possible. Sources are saying that Samsung is looking more and more at alternatives that will allow it to take a distance from Google… Tizen is one of them!

That’s why a flagship Samsung phone with Tizen OS on board is not out of the picture and created one. This model reminds me of a foldable Galaxy S5 concept we showed you over the past weeks. The Samsung Tizen S smartphone has a rounded lower area, an edge to edge screen and a rectangular upper part with slightly rounded corners.

It’s an incredibly thin device and it looks like less than 7 mm in waistline or so. The handset packs a 4.8 inch Super AMOLED display, Tizen 3.0 OS, 2 GB of RAM and a 16 megapixel camera. It does 4K video capture, has a 1.9 GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor, 32 GB of storage and a metallic case. There’s image stabilization available, a 2 MP camera, a microSD card slot and colors like red, purple, black and blue for the handset.

People wanted rectangular designs and Samsung listened and brought us the Note 3. Will they listen and use metal cases next?
