Deviantart member TheTechnoToast has created some very interesting concepts in the past, like the Nexus X device and now it’s back with a 12 inch Nexus tablet. This is the Nexus 12 and it also comes with a brand new UI for an OS that’s supposedly Android 4.5.

The Nexus 12 is a slate made from single piece of matte stainless steel, with chamfered edges around it and the power button. The Android release on board features a dedicated Google Now button in the center of the status bar and a brand new notification system. As far as the specs go, they’re as hardcore as you imagined and include a 3.4 GHz octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 2000 CPU, as well as 6 GB of RAM.

The 12 inch Super AMOLED screen supports a 5K resolution, that’s 5120 x 2700 pixels and the display is covered with scratch proof Sapphire Crystal. Inside the Nexus 12 concept there’s an 8000 mAh battery and at the back we’ve got a 32 megapixel camera with 8K video capture. This product is able to multi boot into Ubuntu, Chrome OS and Windows RT, plus it has USB 3.0 for charging and fast transfers.

Since this is an edge to edge tablet, there’s a special smart touch technology on board to avoid unintended touches. What do you think of this device?
