Sony Ericsson recently announced the launch of its environmentally friendly handset, the GreenHeart concept phone. The device has a pretty decent life cycle and features a bio-plastic housing, recycled plastic keypad, zero charger (3.5mW standby power) and HTML based e-manuals (no more cut down trees for paper).

Plus, the GreenHeart comes with “Ecomate”, an educational app that’s pretty much a fun game. Even the package of the phone is environmentally friendly so owning, using and recycling the handset will solve some of Mother Nature’s issues.
