We covered the iPhone X here, back at the end of 2016 and enjoyed its old school approach very much. The creation of Imran Taylor is now back with a video, shown below. The most interesting aspect? The body is made of zirconia ceramic.

Zirconia ceramic is a very resilient, but also lightweight material, that lets the signal pass through it. It also takes heat very well. This iPhone X, or iPhone 8, or whatever you want to call it has a 5.8 inch curved OLED display and a touch sensitive lower bezel, that lets you use a variety of gestures. Thinner than ever, the phone is 6.9 mm in waistline and it also brings wireless charging via the smart connector.

There’s also sapphire glass protection applied to the back and front panel, from what I’ve heard. The problem is that both zirconia ceramic and the glass will be hard to manufacture on a massive scale, so maybe this will be a limited model, like the Xiaomi Mi MIX.
