Apple hasn’t been afraid to channel nostalgia into its products, resurrecting the iPhone SE last year and bringing the iPhone 4 flat edges to the iPhone 12 series. Now they may be at it again, thanks to an iPhone 6 refresh. Or at least that’s what designer 4RMD is suggesting.
He envisioned the iPhone 6 2022 refresh with a punch hole for the selfie camera, dead center at the top side. It keeps the same aesthetics and also brings a Product RED hue, perhaps lighter and those antenna lines, which nowadays feel a tad dated. Sadly there’s only a singular back camera here and I would have loved to see at least a dual camera. The Touch ID has been moved into the Power button on the side.
We also get a 12 MP front and back camera and when all’s said and done this sounds more like an iPhone SE 2022 to be honest. It comes with a bigger display than the OG iPhone 6, brings back the audio jack, uses a 3200 mAh battery and 128 GB of storage. It has 4 GB of RAM and iOS 15, while the CPU inside the same Apple A15 Bionic from the current iPhone 13 lineup. 4RMD claims it should be available in Silver, Space Grey, Navy Blue and PRODUCT RED, as well as Rose Gold.
