I’m pretty sure that you’ve seen the news feeds flooded with the latest iPhone XS renders for the past 24 or 48 hours. Now we also get a 3D video render of those leaks and it looks pretty legit. Let’s check them out.
The creation of Lee Gunho, this iPhone brings forth a new color hue, something that feels like a mix of copper and a darker blush gold. The bulk of the iPhone X format is still here, without major changes and the iPhone XS obviously has a dual back camera, a notch and a highly reflective glass back. There’s still a Lightning port at the bottom, a sturdy and glossy stainless steel frame and stereo speakers.
As it usually happens for an “S” generation the camera upgrade will probably be the focus here, with new AI and Portrait features. There’s still no Touch ID within the screen, certainly no Home button and Face ID remains the way to go. My main concern is that the device is way too reflective for its own good and may catch light improperly, perhaps even affecting picture taking.
We’ll have to wait and see, since Apple has an event scheduled for September 12th.
