Isophone Concept Is More Than Smoke on the Water

Now this is not your average Sunday concept phone, I’ll tell you that much… James Auger and Jimmy Loizeau have designed an unique piece of gadgetry that allows you to make private phone calls while swimming in the pool.

Known as Isophone, this concept is a telecommunications device and a hybrid between a telephone and a “floatation tank”.

The user of the Isophone will wear a helmet in order to block “peripheral sensory distraction” and keep his head above water… all of that for a mere phone call. How about getting OUT of the pool, wiping your hands clean and grabbing your cellphone from the locker?
