Although one may think that the Nubio phone is somehow related to the ZTE Nubia, that’s not the case, since this concept phone is much more stylish than the ZTEs. It’s a concept created by Keny Lin, from China, who based the whole idea around a bezel less screen.
The front side reminds me of the Sharp Aquos Crystal, while the back is very posh, but also a bit generic. There’s a slight BlackBerry vibe here and the soft touch and metal back is sleek. We also have a sliding portion, that gently comes up from behind the display, to reveal the earpiece, sensors and front camera with flash.
The back side and a large portion of the case is customizable, with snake skin or wood texture, plus more choices. The core here remains a narrow metal body, with a bezel free display and solid build. Things that don’t convince me are the ports at the bottom and the thickness of the device, a bit too big for nowadays.
Also, having to slide to access the earpiece may be annoying in the long run.
