The shocking news of the past week is that all OnePlus 5 models went out of stock, perhaps hinting at an unexpected OnePlus 6 launch soon. Thus, a slew of leaks and renders popped up and some enthusiastic designers showed us their vision of the device. One of them can be seen below, courtesy of DBS Designing.

OnePlus can’t just sit idle, as the bezel-free trend passes them by, so they will likely integrated an edge to edge 18:9 screen on the future flagship. Seen from the front the device feels like a combo of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2 and the LG G6. It’s dust and waterproof and makes the transition to a better dual camera than the OnePlus 5 had. It has a 5.7 inch diagonal, 8 GB of RAM and fast charging.

A 16 MP dual back camera is here and if OnePlus wants to impress, they should offer image stabilization on both sensors. The fingerprint scanner on the OnePlus 6 has been integrated below the screen and all in all this feels like a pretty slim design. There slight angularity of the corners had me curious a bit, giving a laptop vibe here. Also, the sides of the screen are much less curved than on other modern phones and the back side doesn’t seem to feature any sort of glass panel.

Another impressive aspect is the way the discrete antennae are integrated here. Fingers crossed for this to happen.
