The modern gadgets are usually judged by the number of features they have and the number of objects they replace… “Simplistic” is never a good adjective to describe a brand new handset or portable device, as convergence has lead to hunger for performance.
However, there are some gizmos that put more emphasis on feeling and less on superficial exaggerated specs.
Enrico Pandolfini designed the Pupa-styled concept phone in the picture above, a simple handset with attractive looks and user-friendly interface. This handset is all about feeling, as it can be customized to the user’s mood and, for example you’ll hear a merry tune once your lover calls, but the song will change to a more dramatic one, when you get an official call.
