If you’re sick of too many Apple concepts phones and even some iPads, it’s time to go to the fall collection of devices. I’m talking about the Google Pixel 3 and Google Pixel 3 XL, which have received the @OnLeaks treatment.

The leakster, designer and in general excellent source of future device info has come up with a pretty legit set of renders. We get a notch, stereo speakers and somehow a single rear camera. There are moments when this device, the Pixel 3XL feels a bit like the Nokia X6 (2018) and other times it feels like a Huawei.

The high visibility of the front cameras and earpiece, plus sensors will make the notch very hard to hide. I feel that the dual front camera integration feels a bit like the one on the HTC U12+ and HTC 10 and I’m talking about the smaller Pixel 3 here.

Pixel 3 XL seems to still have a glass back portion at the top side, while the lower bit seems to be all metal. The dual speakers upfront may feel useful, but they’re not very sexy, taking up too much space. I feel that the lower bit integration, next to the USB Type-C port is smarter.

The @OnLeaks sources mention a 5.4 inch for the Google Pixel 3 and a 6.2 inch for the Pixel 3 XL. A 19:9 aspect ratio is expect here as well. The smaller unit measures 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9 mm and the Pixel 3 XL is a beast with a 158 x 76.6 x 7.9 mm size.

The maker or breaker of the phones? Their thickness and the number of cameras..
