HTC BoomSound Edition Gets More Renders, Video

Remember the HTC BoomSound Edition from a few days ago? Course you do, since it was one of the most original renders of a future HTC phone I’ve seen lately. Well, today we’re back to show you the handset, this time with a video attached and more renders.

The smartphone is designed by Vineet Kumar and the video is done by Mesut G Designs. A new name is being thrown around here, HTC Boom, that may sound a big cheesy. I like the protruding volume buttons that feel like something you’d find on a gaming console. The buttons are probably the best part here, while the removable speakers make this model feel a bit like it has GameBoy cartridges.

It’s a bit of a controversial choice, but if you want HTC to be a landmark of acoustics, sacrifices must be made. There’s one major problem that HTC MUST solve in 2016: decrease that godawful thickness of your devices. At least make them reach 8 mm…
